Hello everyone. Sorry it has been a long time since I last posted anything on here. Unfortunately alot has changed in my life and it will be very difficult for me to get to come and meet you all again. However I would like to keep up to date with the club through the forum.
I have a few Tornados to post here,thsee were produced for a special theme at last year's IPMS Telford Nationals show. We got in contact with Andreas Klein at Wingman models as they had produced a set of Luftwaffe Tornado decals. We wanted to build a few and display them at Telford with a view to helping and promoting the decals and the Tornado.
The display itself went down very well and I myself managed to build 5 of the Tornado aircraft represented on the decal sheet.
So,without any further words here are those 5 Tornado models, 4×1/48 Italeri model kits and 1x1/48 Revell kit. I think you can see the difference between Italeri & Revell

ASSTA 3 tornado upgrades aircraft 98+77, December 2010. Upgrades included avionics,cockpit and some external parts.

This is the new Revell boxing in 1/48. The kit is totally different to the Italeri kit to build,however,it is more accurate and great value for your money as there is no need for any aftermarket items i.e. PE or resin.

This is the Italeri 1/48 model kit. I have used 2 x PJ Productions modern jet fighter pilots in the cockpit.

This aircraft was involved in a landing accident and was returned to Germany and put in the Deutsche Museum at Oberschleissheim in Bavaria. It was adorned with special markings on the tail.



Italeri model kit 1/48.

Hi, Andy! I see it is the rain of the Tornados. Nice models. It is a pitty to hear that it will be difficult for you to come now. But as we are the soul mates so I believe we will keep in touchd one way or another.

I shall try to visit one day in the future. Maybe an appearance at the show?
